What We Do

Our Mission

To mobilise and empower young people to demand strong data governance, seamless integration of digital tools, and direct influence over health policy to advance digital health and Universal Health Coverage.

Our Vision
A future where young people lead equitable, rights-based digital health transformation at national, regional, and global levels.

Building out a Youth Network

We aim to engage 60+ youth organisations across our national coalition countries (Kenya, Senegal, Mexico, Indonesia, India and Ecuador) and globally.
We are actively building alliances and partnerships with national, regional, and global youth networks to foster mutual growth and impact. We partner with youth groups and youth-led organisations to co-host events, pilot community mobilisation and integrate youth insights into our broader initiatives.
As a key technical partner of the Africa CDC Youth Programme, Transform Health’s Youth Engagement Initiative plays a central role in advancing the Africa Youth in Digital Health Network. We lead the Policy and Advocacy Working Group and co-lead the Capacity Building Working Group, helping shape strategic direction and implementation.
We strengthen the policy advocacy skills of our youth network by providing practical capacity‑building opportunities, such as the Annual Youth Forum, where young leaders learn to influence national, regional, and global health data governance processes.
We provide a platform for youth-led consultations that shape policy priorities in digital health.
Through intergenerational dialogues, we convene stakeholders across sectors to ensure inclusive decision-making. Our work includes producing evidence-based policy briefs, and supporting youth participation in national, regional, and global advocacy spaces. By amplifying young people's voices, we ensure their diverse needs, perspectives, and aspirations are reflected and prioritised in digital health policies and frameworks.
Develop and disseminate a youth call to action: We aim to influence key global digital health strategies, policies, and program decisions through a well-crafted call to action, including shaping the new Global Digital Health Strategy and the UHC 2030 High-Level Meeting, in 2027, with success measured by the incorporation of specific youth-led recommendations in official documents, reports, or public statements by relevant decision-makers.
Championing strengthened global health data governance: frameworks, achieving endorsement through a World Health Assembly resolution and domestication into national legislation by 2030.
Advocating for increased and better coordinated domestic and international financial investments: to support the equitable, inclusive, and sustainable digital transformation of health systems, particularly in low and middle income countries.
